Who is Valuer?
"Valuer is a professional who has been educated and trained to determine the value of fixed property, execute feasibility studies and provide expert advice on property related matters. The Valuer does not invent value, but interprets market forces, which determine the value. Valuer is a profession closely related to real estate. A Valuer determines the value of property based upon market conditions at a given time."
Let me just drive you through the SIX (6) easy step of engaging a Valuer Service:


STEP 1: Get SEVERAL Valuer Company Name, Location & Contact Number
(Make sure it is the panel of the Bank that you are taking)

STEP 2: Call SEVERAL Valuers, give your purchase price and ask for the Valuer's Fee
(IMPORTANT: Make sure their offer [Market Value, MV] is equal / above your purchase price)


      Commonly Asked Question:
        (by the Valuer, during phone calls)

     1. Full Address of Property?
     2. How Old is the Property?
     3. Type of Property?
     4. Condition of the Property?
     5. Built-up Area?
     6. Price you are buying? 





STEP 3: Choose the BEST Valuer 
(You may want to SELECT the one that gives the lowest fees and agrees with your purchase price)

STEP 4: House Viewing
(Valuer's site visit - to look at the property and take lots and lots of photos)

     There are Two (2) options:

     1. You can set a date with the Valuer and the House Agent to 
          visit the property

         Advantages
          - You get to meet the Valuer
          - Opportunity to visit the property again
          - You can measure the size of your kitchen for renovation
             estimation purposes

             (Of course i pick this option :D )




     2. You can just give your House Agent's Name and HP Number
          to the Valuer.
          (The Valuer will contact the Agent and arrange to visit the
          
property themselves.)




STEP 5: Valuer ON DUTY! 
(Valuer will prepare all necessary documents and value the property)

STEP 6: Collect Documents & Pay Valuer Fees
(Once the document is ready, the Valuer will contact you for collection and payment)

      Payment can be made via:
  •  Bankers' Cheque
  •  Bank In Account
  •  Cash
